Washington, Aug 19 (ANI): James Blunt has credited his stint at the boarding school for inspiring him to become a songwriter.
The 'You're Beautiful' hitmaker, who was sent to boarding school when he was just seven, said that leaving home to get locked in an unknown place for 10 years gave an 'intensity of emotion'.
"Being sent away to boarding school at seven is as great an inspiration as any songwriter could have - to be taken away from one's family and locked away for 10 years. It does create an incredible intensity of emotion," Contactmusic quoted Blunt as saying.
Meanwhile, the Brit star has also asserted that he hasn't allowed fame to change his behaviour. The Grammy Award nominee is now set to release his new album 'All The Lost Souls' next month. (ANI)
